I put a new set of forward controls on my '77 FXE and I'm having a hard time finding brake lines that go from the master cylinder to the brake light tee. I was wondering what other folks are doing in this situation, they sell universal
braided lines but it looks like I would have to part together pieces to make it work. Any help/ experience would be greatly appreciated.
once you fab on something you end up fabing all of it - they make black braded lines and end pieces for that master as well as the chrome but everybody does chrome
Any suggestions on where to find the lines for that master? I have looked with no luck. The eBay place I bought them say they are manufactured by V-Twin. I looked in the catalog and didn't see any.
midusa motorcycle catalog on line has the black in both metal nylon lines and plastic and I have used the plastic line just to see on one of my bikes and it was on it 6 years and I sold it - and they are black as well and cheaper
I'm finishing up a build on a 72 FX that I added forward controls to. I got a 120 degree chrome hard line from Dennis Kirk that comes out of the front of the master cylinder and turns back then ran a braided line from the hard line to the tee fiting.

Barnett will make custom lines in any configuration you need.
Keep an eye on that master cylinder. I put one on my bobber that looks exactly like that one. It leaked at the plunger right out of the box. Contacted the vendor, he pretty much said tough. I took it apart and the cup edge looked like it had been cut with pinking shears. Put a new cup and seal in it and all is well. Just an FYI
