Default 81 FX Oil Pressure Switch
81 FX Oil Pressure Switch, mounted low on oil pump.
How much oil will I lose if I unscrew it and replace it?
Will the oil flow out, or just leak a little?
Do I need to drain oil completely?

Have the new one prepped and ready to go, work fast and you might loose 2 drops

I never lost much over a drop or two... unless the engine is Running of course...the check ball should show its function here,,

I got it done before I got these responses.
You were both right on, I lost about 2 fat drops.
Thank you!
BTW- I changed it because the light would go out, but still had a very faint part still lite. Works great now!

I have one just like it... goes completely off at above idle tho... if yours works that way, ya wanna sell it??

Yea, it is bright red when off, goes off a start up, and is very faint at idle. Out completely above idle.
