i would like to post a new thread featuring the 1983 FXDG Twin Belt Wide Glide, these photos are a combination of FXDG's that I've found on the internet, some that were for sale & others that are from FXDG owners that I'am in contact with who I met through this Forum. I would also like to invite other FXDG owners who might see this thread to post comments or photos of their FXDG's if you like . . .enjoy !!
First, a photo from Willie G Davidsons's personal Wide Glide that was used to create the "Special Edition Twin Belt Wide Glide . . . a photo of a production FXDG "FX Disc Glide "
these next 2 photos are from the H-D Archive collection . . .
as you can see, these Bikes are highly detailed for a normal production models, according to Harley Davidson only 810 were produced ! The 1983 FXDG's also featured their own VIN# designating them from the normal Wide Glide's " 1HD1BG x x x . . ."

these next few photos are from images of some unrestored FXDG's that were posted on the internet in the past, i don't know the owners, or if these are still in existence . . .
a photo posted on the internet a few years ago An FXDG that was for sale in Veh-markets . . . looks to have ben in very good unrestored condition . . .wounder what it sold for ? An FXDG that was listed in Cycle Trader a year or 2 ago . . . an interesting image of 2 FXDG's . . .don't know if they were for sale or not . . . any body know any thing about these 2 Bikes ? . . .
Heir are a few Photos of some FXDG's that were recently for sale (2018-2020) . . .
for sale on ebay last year . . . also for sale on ebay this last summer . . .this Bike was also featured in a youtube video . . . this bike was listed in Cycle Trader , last year . . . an other shot of the FXDG that was for sale in Cycle Trader last year An FXDG that was for sale a few years ago . . . an FXDG that was offered on 2040 motos . . . An other FXDG that was in Cycle Trader . . . & heirs one that was for sale at an H-D dealer this last summer , in Germany . . .
& these last few photos are of FXDG's from other Forum members that I've met through this Forum . . . Randy-FXDG's Disc Glide from summer 2020. . . from Gas-Can's post back in 2009 (as i can tell he only posted 1 time ) from Gordon F. in Australia right after he got it home ! Tom B.'s FXDG, he's looking for some original FXDG parts to replace some chrome parts that were changed out from the original owner !

This FXDG was a good example of an unrestored Original condition with only 4500 miles on the odometer, it was not presented very well & was not serviced before the photos for the auction were taken, the bike only had 10 bids for a total of 6100 $ . . . maybe they'll re-list it with better photos & a little bit of detailing . . .
this FXDG was listed on ebay last week (11.2020) the "buy it now price"was 12500 $

heir are 2 photos of an FXDG that the second owner customised by changing out some of the Painted parts . . . this FXDG was listed on Chopper Exchange back in Dec. 2014 . . . . . . the listing said the original panted parts were sold with the Bike for 10k$
The above youtube video is one I've watched countless times in the time i refurbished my FXWG/FXDG replica Wide Glide, its the best video of a completely restored FXDG on the internet, other than the black air cleaner its totally put back to stock Original condition . . .Enjoy !!
