what i forgot to say is the bike fell off the jack without the shocks and the frame bottoming out on the ground and bending the chain guard im not quiet sure if the 3 breakers hit the frame when that happened but they dont look damaged ive got the guard unbolted sitting on the tyre so all is accessible all the wires are connected not broken or grounding out on the frame or touching each other. yes its probably an easy fix but its locating the problem thanks

Look for what the symptoms have in common. That the bike won't crank is a clue. The starter solenoid is usually wired to it's own relay separate from the accessory relays. They shouldn't all so problems. What they do have in common is the battery and the main circuit breaker. Different models will have some wiring differences. An ol' trick is, does the head lamp come on? If it does what happens to the light when the starter button is pressed. If the light dims or goes out look to the battery and it's terminals. Kind of a backyard load test.
I actually think you have a battery problem. Voltage reading 12 volts might not be when a load in put on the battery. That's why a load test is done when a battery is questioned. I've seen volts drop to almost zero when an internal battery problem like the plate connections or corroded terminals.

You could check the circuit breakers to see if one was damaged when the bike fell by putting a amp meter between the hot wire that feeds the breaker and the breaker itself. The three breakers under the seat are rated at 15 amps. The main battery breaker is 30 amps. If the breaker is tripping much lower than that you have a damaged breaker

I once had a wire grind through its isolation and create a short in the headstock area.
Too much steering and going left and right I imagine... if you're in the US this is probably not your issue.

OK, sounds like you have narrowed it down, can you place a finger on each of the circuit breakers to see which 1 is cycling off? If you identify which 1 is clicking you know where to look for the short. At 1 point you said the dash lights were not working. Sounds like you have a running light hot wire pinched somewhere. Also you say now the turn signals are not working..... I would trace your turn signal wires back from the rear signals forward, you said you removed the struts, did you pinch a wire putting them back on?

Is that click you are hearing coming from the relay under the battery? Those things fail all the time. You will get a click but the starter won’t engauge. I had a ‘pretty new’ one fail on me. More cheap Chinese stuff. You can easily bypass the relay.

Not sure if I’m taking you down the wrong path.

About batteries. Yes a battery can show good voltage but put a load on it and then kaputz!
