Paid $6200 - Fellow that has it says it was his dad's bike and spent most of it's time parked in his showroom. His dad rebuilt it 8 years ago and it only has 800 miles on it since that time. Appears to be pretty much factory with the exception of the seats, carb and he did add disc brakes front and rear. His dad died seven years ago and his wife did not want to look at the bike anymore...son does not ride. I feel confident it will never be worth less than the purchase price.

What would be the chance of finding the correct seat or something similar for this bike?

In the classified i have a 1976 FLH for sale the visual seat - bags - fairing is all the same as the total of the bike except for the engine and 66 the fuel petcock is on the right tank and other things 20 as i count

heathers leathers make a correct seat and its on a pogo as a solo or they also sell a buddy seat some one might post a early pogo but you need to be tall to use one

Same out west here. Lots of none correct stuff but clean and looks well done.

Had to do a little carb adjusting this morning. It now starts/idles easily with the kicker or electric start. Turn signals work, but I have yet to figure out why the headlite, brake or the spots won't come on.

The gen lite stays on while running...oil pressure light goes off like it should. I need to replace the switch at any rate because there is no key...can't leave it parked anywhere for sure.

Remove all the wires off the generator - then take a lead from the battery plus to the top terminal at 12 o’clock and ark it - polarizing the fields

then see if it starts to. Work again

If it’s an original switch, take it to a locksmith. A competent locksmith should be able to make a key. Done it several times on several bikes with no keys. Ignition or saddlebags.
