Default Grease Suggestions

I replaced the starter on my 1978 FLH 80 and I'm running a stock primary. What grease do I use on the starter shaft? The HD manual did not specify that I saw. Just engine oil?

I got curious about what this green grease was so I googled it:

When I had my Electra Glide apart I used Lucas Red and Tacky #2 on that shaft. I also used it on the clutch fingers, rollers, and the inner primary bearing. Just a little though. Probably better to get some of that green stuff.

Red and Tacky is my go to for all grease applications.

Ya guys I've been using green grease, great stuff. Just don't like the fact it's made in China. Seems all my parts or let's say several come from Taiwan. I put a thin coat on that spline the book says lubricate one. That stuff is no longer. That green grease is the best and I've been using it on a lube surfaces. Including my plunger on my Pogo and that brass insert.
