Hi everyone,
I have a question about something I've never encountered before. At a stand still, I found that I can move my front tire side to side. Is this indication of needing to replace axle and bearings? Over the winter, I changed handlebars and thought that the weird handling was just me having to get used to the new bars, then I found this sloppiness in the front wheel.
Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated.
Too many could be's to type in here, as been said time to get the hands dirty and find what's going on. Start with checking all fasteners for tight and for loose spokes. Next would be pull the wheels and check the bearings.
Take pictures of what goes where during tear down, may seem silly but you'll be thankful you did later.
