77 FLH for sale near me.
1977 FLH.
He's had if listed for 4 months.
Seller says it is ready to ride and it has a, "New battery. Lots of extra stuff comes with it, solo seat, saddle bags sissy bar, etc".
I contacted him and he is in Florida for the winter and will be back in April so you've got plenty of time to pick it apart for me.
Unknown mileage.
He is asking $5,800.00 for it.
That is all I know about it right now.
Here are the pics from his listing.
Personally with the economy tanking, tax time and winter bills hitting hard the next couple months I suspect we'll be seeing more of the old bikes popping up. Money starts getting tight they'll be out.
Any pics of the left side of the bike?

The old style windshield on the ground is what the FLH came stock with. I do not believe that one is original. If it is, it doesn't have the bottom part. The Bat Wing faring was still an option in 77.
Original tanks would be 5 gallon with the gas caps low to the tank, and not raised like those are. Would also have a AMF logo. Those are newer tanks, but the dash is correct.
I can' t tell if that is an S and S shorty carb or not. Someone else will know. I would consider that a plus if it has the S and S.
The bottom line is in the starting. Pull the choke on the Keihen (or enrichener if S and S) Hit the start button and see if it fires up. W/O smoking, caughing. hacking etc. It should fire right up if the motor and battery are good. Those early electric starts DO NOT like you to grind and make them work too hard.
The money your seller is asking is a bit high and you need to consider what you want to do with the bike. After market parts have zero value in my opinion. Fringe, the exhaust, after market flippy fender, after market solo seat, etc etc add no value to that machine at all. In fact, I consider those things price subtraction add ons.
It almost looks like the owner tried to graft a FX rear end onto it. Possible accident? I can see the frame number plate. Ask for the motor number and look it up. Make sure it's an FLH. Might be a Frankenstein FXE.
The bike below is a bone stock 77 FLH. Nothing has been done to it. This one sold for 8500. It was a private sale. A dealer would probably try to get twice that .
