stock dead no power no cam engine maybe - lost track of the other 2 but my guess heat cycles did them as well - trade off is scary when it comes apart

I'm sure someone can post up a pic of the mods they did to fit the Evo in the stock shovel - JZJZ certainly knows the routine - here's a few pics - one is a shovel fram knotched for an evo motor - the others are from my shop - that's an Evo fitted to a shovel hardtail before I cut and weld - the Evo looks trick in the hardtail - it shoe-horns in nice and I will only relieve the seat post tube slightly - unfortunately - the rear rocker has to be pre-assembled to fit the motor like that - so all tweaks to that rear head will require engine removal - that's the price for looking trick.
Aftermarket frames tend to not be as tight as OEM, the are designed to be multi use.
