we have answered,... shovels DO NOT NEED torque plates to bore cylinders, they are ONLY NEEDED ON ALLY CYLINDERS FROM EVO'S UP !!

Again. If you want to make some order some 3 5/8 copper gaskets. That will be a good template. If you don’t know how to enter those measurements in the digital domain than maybe learn how to do that.

problem being the holes are not equal to each other ,,,, I came up with 4.750 bore center for hole location,,,,, degrees of off set is 0 deg 66 deg 140 deg 215.5 deg 298 deg and back to 0 degrees ,,,,,,,,,,,now some one tell me I'm off on one because it works but the bolts are a tight fit and I believe there a loose fit with the head installed on the cylinder ,,,now if you follow that I would still like to know degrees or x and y coordinates ??? precisely thank you.

Since it seems that you must have a mill with a DRO, clamp the cylinder down and use a pin gauge that just fits in the head bolt bore. Touch off at each location and note the readout.

Forgot to zero the DRO on the bore center first. Want more accuracy? Indicate the holes after the pin..
I like the idea of not using the top cylinder ring.. I have a set of jim's evo/shovel TQ plates and need to fit pan cylinders.. The bottom plate fits the pan cylinder base.. Easy way to hold the cylinder..
