I am not up to the speed i need help finding something i need for a job
we took in a 1978 Baltimore Maryland police machine for a total back to its original delivered look - and it is not as it sits
specs as i have been told - they only ordered 32 machines BUT wanted them tank shift foot clutch i could really use an original picture of what one looked like we know it was white so my guess its GM white DuPont not corvette white -
my search came up with a monkey on a Canadian Twinkie eating Twinkies funny but not whaat i am in need of
I didn’t vet the year models very hard. If I didn’t outright see a pan, and if it had a tank shifter, I posted it. But I’m pretty sure they are all Baltimore PD
I only found the same pictures plus a lot newer machines. I am not fully versed on those frame mounted shifter, but I believe there is a gated version (gate at frame mount) and a ratchet version. But maybe the ratchet version was after market, not sure. Parts manual may better explain. Shame they went away from the alternate color front fender, that looks good. Appears to have gone away when the bikes went to alternators.
Rick might be able to help you out with the "Police" stickers and red/white/blue stripes on the bags:

I'm fuzzy but if I remember right the pans had the ratchet style that clamped higher on the frame leg, shovel got the longer arm gate style. Some of the early chopper guys I hung with in my drooling youth liked those.
