Wasnt loctite, dont know how it happened but the collar on the nut was slightly flared so when it went into the spring retainer it got jammed maybe dirt, maybe someone over tightened it. after soaking overnight and wacking it in each direction it came right out. A little file work and everything moves freely. Thanks for suggestions!
