I've wanted to put a set of floorboards and forward controls on my 79 FXEF for years. Found this site a few minutes ago and saw some posts about Forward Controls. Can anybody give me a clue where I might find some boards, so I can finally put the pegs on the shelf?
Nice to find a site that isn't all about promoting new bikes!
Thanks,
Steve

i know the mini floorboards from cci and other companies will take place of yourfwd controlpegs. you can mount them at 2 different angles and spin them. they won't work on the newer models(dyna's) but work well with many aftermarket forward control set-up's.
the hardware that comes with it was chucked for stainless.... you have to tighten them up real good or high speeds will cause them to flip up from the wind when you take your foot off. i had stock controls ('74 fxe ) and used these as forward pegs......but have fit them on many fwrd cntrls. they are less than 40 bucks.
so you really have a couple options for the front.
