Intake question?

Default Intake question?

I'm running a 68 shovel ,big stroker,S&S shorty. Should I run the o-ring intake or the flat gasket kit ??? Anybody run the two piece VS the stock style clamp ??? Thanks....c

I've run both systems Just make sure you support the carb air filter off the front shovel

I found the wide rubber gasket to be easier to deal with. I also coated it with the red high heat RTV for a better seal. Just let it sit overnight for cure time. Sqdealgeorge is REALLY right about mounting the carb to the front valve cover. That cures alot of problems. Your S&S should have come with the bracket.

I concur on the usage of the braket, even if it does not look as cool. Go with what works
