So 84 FLH, you have the belt drive on the 4 speed. Also, the 79+ rear caliper, not the banana caliper. These 2 facts may be limiting the rotor choices. And since its a bagger, looks probably doesnt matter much.

I would try to find some stock replacement rotor.

For the caliper, in my mind no other choice than PM. I installed my first set of PM brakes and masters in 1989. and never looked back.

Ok cool. in that case I like the Russel rotors. They are Stainless Steel, so they will always look good. Available everywhere. You should be able to find one of those to fit. And they come polished if you want.

Riddle me this blaine, is it one of the real thick cast iron rear rotors? If so, choices may be limited. If you went PM then a standard thickness rotor would work.

I just up-graded my '81 superglide to a 2000 and newer softail disc. Tom White at T.T. Cycle has been doing this for some time. It involves milling the end of the axel mount, removing a washer from behind the sprocket and making a new mount that bolts to the inside of the shock mount. It looks real clean and gives you a four piston caliper. I haven't tried it out since I'm in the process of giving the ole girl a face lift.

Once on main page click on left top for V-Twin, then click “Touring” when the bike is on the right, click on “brakes” (underneath the pic) then click on the left one “Rear” first one up is 73 to 84 (don’t worry when it first opos up it states 73 to “83” don’t believe it, on the next pop up it stated correct and it’s the one I been running for a lot of years over 10 !!! great brake different grade of pads, some wear out faster, (but you stop faster) I get 5 to 6000 miles out of a set, but stops when I need it !

You will see the below………
BTW- the satin finish is just as good the day I put it on over 10 yrs ago. Price went up about 50 bucks no too bad.

Here is what you will see below……

take care and good luck

You could'nt give me a set of performancemachine brakes, because of there tech.support, bought front caliper from them for my 79 flh, and it would'nt work because they said I had the wrong piston size master cylinder, on the bike, they said I needed a 5/8 inch instead of the 3/4 inch one, harley did'nt make a 5/8 until I think 84, so be sure you got the right size master cylinders, a lot of companies will tell you in the specs what is needed for there brakes, but PM did not at least for my year caliper, but it did fit, just did'nt work.
