I have a buddy who is making 128 cu in hybrid shovels that are kicking out huge horse power....without modifications he is getting 125 hp and with mods he can get 142 hp at the wheel...i forgot to ask the all important torque question. Sorry!
This is not an advertisement i am interested in any comments though!
I'll see what i can do....I'm assuming he must have changed (as in some other V-twin) the jugs and pistons considerably but all else would be the same...i did ask if it was the same rocker box covers and they are and I asked if it was a single cam and it was but i can't see how else would be original equipment?
Sounds like the guys who are using the Evo 127 bottoms and "similar style" shovel tops. Making great numbers and they do look like Shovels. But they really aren't. Also, most of the ones I have seen will not fit in a 4-speed frame. Too much deck height.

True, it wont fit in a 4sp frame or a 5sp frame without some modifications. I believe he is using Ultima 127.7 jugs and changing the pistons? But due to the time of year I might not get a full explanatoin until after new year?
