Windshield.....
Hello all. I am, once again, asking for some help. The restore/repair etc. is going well on my bike - it is a 1980 FLT.
I am near the completion of rewiring it through the frame. The seat has been replaced with a comfort-flex in white leather bolted to a NOS hi/low bear-trap. The original fiberglass saddlebags are being wrapped in black leather with fringes and conchos for the 'retro' look. New Thunderheads, S&S Super E shorty carb, new tank with the speedo on the dash (where God and Harley intended it to be), and, seguing in to the subject matter of this post - the front end with the dual lights and the fairing has been replaced by what I believe is a Road King front end. I am looking for a windshield for the bike at this stage, but really have no idea what year/model to buy for. I have the relevant measurements and I am hoping someone could assist in pointing me in the right direction.
I would expect the headlight cutout to be 9". The distance between the mounting brackets is 15" and the space between the fork mounting bolts (on the nacelle) is 7". These measurements are give or take a 1/2" or so. If more specificity is required to establish a certain model/year, I will re-measure to get them.
Any help anyone can provide would be much appreciated.
Thanks all.

If it is a RK, front shields from '94 and up are all the same, you could pick up a used one. In '93 they did have a FLHS which was a FLT without the fairing and had a special Nacelle with the FLT guage pack in it. So it was the first Road King looking bike from the MoCo...... billy g
