Turn signal issue
1979 FLH right rear turn signal only works when rear brake is applied. The remaining signals work normally as do the 4-ways. Checked flashers, brake switch, 4-way flasher switch and the power panel (inside headlight nacelle) no wires seem loose or are bare as far as I could determine. This is driving me nuts, just don't know which direction to go now. Anyone have any ideas?

It may sound crazy but try replacing the bulb,also check the bulb socket too for corrosion inside as there is a spring behind the contacts for the bulb and they sometimes do not allow the contact to work properly.

Had a similar problem with my 73 FLH. Removed bulbs and cleaned contacts and used rolled up emory cloth to socket bases. There was some visible corrosion in the socket bases. Reinstalled bulbs and problem was gone. Cheap easy fix and worth a try.
