Fork Seals.. First time replacing them, what do I need to know?
First of all, let me say thank you very much for the help on previous posts!
I have been riding and wrenching on my own for a long time, but its been years since Ive done much more than maintainance, and I appreciate having knowledgeable folks to talk things over with. Im going over the whole bike and find it saves a lot of grief to be informed before tearing things apart.
I have never replaced fork seals, although I have replaced many other seals in other places and vehicles. Is there anything specific to wide glide seals that I need to know? Its a 73, but the FE seems to be a 66.. Home made tool easy to create? Any hints appreciated!
