I'll suggest while your down that far already replace the rocker box gaskets with the better metal silicon ones you'll be saving yourself headaches down the road if you still have the old paper ones installed .

Just an update. Had heads off n valve job done new gaskets. Went with the paper gasket and some Mr. Copper gasket spray. Heads are lined up with manifold better now so hopefully no leaks!! Fingers crossed. Also installed a Mallory E-SPARK conversion kit. No more points. Went with solid lifters. Did a quick start and she fired right up. Now just a final quick pushrod adjustment and a clean up and should be riding soon! Thanks to everyone who responded.
