I guess with that Thunderbike rear fender you eliminated the last chance to possibly find such a solution. Now you won't be able to store anything more than a toothbrush on your bike
If you do the Thunderbike fender, then you are pretty much screwed. Unless you add another wire harness to the new fender. Then, you can swap to the factory fender when you need to put saddle bags.
I used EZ-Brackets on a set of throw-over saddle bags. The brackets come with the QD hardware and they will mount to any hard-back saddle bag. I just took the yoke off of the throwovers. Looks great and good for the long trips!

Really, so you need to remove and replace the rear fender to make the bike saddlebag capable. Sounds like a huge drag...great touring option, no thanks!
