Love the wheels!

They just look strange on the bike in chrome to me. Maybe with some more chrome pieces and removal of the "goldish" pieces it would look great but for now I don't get it.

BTW: I am one of those that likes the stock color scheme but then I remember those colors being used back in the day so they seem normal to me.

I hear you. Just a few more subtle pieces, in the right places, and I think the chrome will pop without being overbearing.
The only gold left is the tank badges. If I can find them in silver, i MIGHT change them. I kind of wanted to leave the only "S" thing that was definitive on it, to see if anybody can figure out what the bike once was

Current factory Wide Glide emblems are exactly the same in silver. That's what'll end up on my tank if/when I change the gold wheels.
