Default Gear shaft bushing removel
Hi, I need to replace the two bushings that the gear shaft rolls on. There is a tool online for like $80, Before i buy a $80 tool I am seeing if anyone has used another method. Are there other tools or tricks.

a little more specific please......what bushings.....what shaft?

Where the rocker levers or gear lever attach. that shaft , the housing where the shaft pass through, has a bushing on the front and back, There is a youtube video of this tool been used on the bushings but not sure if allowed to post link..

Ok....never removed them before.....so can't help about any special ways......might be you have to get tool.

Can you put the link to that tool on here?
Might be able to figure out a way if we see the tool....

Try something like a 1/2" socket and drive them out. Use a threaded rod with washers and nuts to pull them in.
