Well, after several phone calls and emails I was forced to give up my plan for ceramic matrix rotors. Both Lyndall and REL/Matrix have ceased production with no remaining stock. Supposedly Drag Specialties has some stock left of the Lyndalls but I didn't want to fight that battle.
I went ahead and ordered the Lyndall 2-piece lug drive scalloped rotors and x-treme pads. Also ordered a Wilwood GP310 caliper and low-mount bracket (caliper under the swingarm). Could only find the bracket in polished billet so I'll have to have it powder coated.
Of course, pics and weights will be posted once it all arrives.
The guy at Matrix/REL was really cool and apologetic. He was very upfront that sales were too poor to stay in the motorcycle business so they change focus. He also said he and most of the others there ride and use their own product. He has a custom Cafe-style Sportster. Maybe a member here?
They're pricey and less exotic than ceramic matrix, but I really like them. Speed Merchant makes a bracket for 13" rotors, so I could retain my radial Tokicos and use the larger rotor...
Lyndall included polished button head screws. Not sure if they are included standard or not. I didn't order them since I've got ARP hardware already.
Xtreme pads for front and rear.
Wilwood GP310 4 piston caliper and low mount bracket (under swingarm). They will both be going out for powdercoat later this week. I'm thinking gloss black for the bracket and texture black for the caliper. Wanting to match the front calipers as closely as possible.
