New rear brake line. All Goodridge. Sniper II in Black and stainless with their 10mm banjo switch. Right at $100 shipped. Cheaper than the pre-built stuff and it's nice looking and lightweight. Win/win.
I'm still waiting on the crossover o-ring for the caliper and need to shrinkwrap & sleeve the wiring, but you get the idea.
Yes. Not a traditional compression fitting, tho. No ferrule/compression device. It's actually a miniature reusable skive hydraulic fitting. Skive vs no-skive is skive requires the removal of the hose sheath. Pretty simple and well-proven in heavy industry.
It would be quite simple to assemble if my arms worked right. It's difficult for me to apply pressure and twist the fitting so I have to use a vise to hold the hose and push with my body. A normal strength man could do it without the vice.

I wish. Between the implants and muscle damage, the physical therapist said my interior rotation (think a "clapping" motion) will never return to normal. I can't do complete normal pushups anymore either. Puts too much strain on the implants and they feel like they want to dislocate in the bottom 1/4 of the dip.
It's OK. It slows me down a little but I'm learning to work around it! Adapt and overcome!
The brake line and switch look great! Now I wish I had put more time into mine instead of ordering off-the-shelf. I had front lines built to order from Spiegler, but the rear line was a bit of a last minute afterthought, unfortunately.
Your bike really is coming together nicely... It really looks great! King of the little details...
Honestly, I would have gone with an off-the-shelf line but I couldn't find one in black and the front was already Sniper.
I'm very slightly concerned about the behavior of the -2 line with regard to brake release speed and lever/pedal feel but the guys I've found that are actually using it say it's a non-issue.
