CGGorman's 99 Wide Glide build thread
Loving this, tho! That's ALL the wiring... Need to figure out something for plugging the huge holes in the frame and headlight bucket.

Did you go with the m-Button for the handle bar wiring as well?
Also....wait a sec, but I didn't know the m-Unit would even work with a modern ECM. So have you gone full blown retro and pulled all the electronics and gone back to bare bones point to point wiring rather than CAN bus, ECM, BCM etc...?????

No, no m-button...but I am using two of the m-switch minis and the m-lock.
No CAN bus on a 99. Just a rat's nest.
The ignition is still stock (well, screamin' eagle) electronic but I will update it to something programmable eventually. Maybe a thunderheart. Most of the ignition-related wires are untouched. A few of them got cut out completely (kill switch, data link) and a few are getting modified/streamlined (power & ground)
I do have one phantom connector that isn't shown in the FSM wiring diagram...so naturally I cut it out and crossed my fingers.
The m-unit replaces the TSSM, starter relay, and fuse box. The main 30A breaker from the voltage regulator remains (dammit). I also had to hack in a trailer convertor to make it work with my tails (it works fine with a normal dual function (brake/run) light, but I want three function (brake/run/turn)
