If mufflers are different lengths then this does seem out of sorts.
Call the manufacturer to avoid speculation. They will know for sure.
I guess evo mufflers with 2.0 Cores on my 2015 limited. I still have the cat and I didn't use a tuner. I didn't put anybaffle material in them. they sound good. and it runs better.

The stock cores are different length too so it would seem to me you may have had to keep track which came out of which side
How do they sound on an M8? I just got a set of CVO mufflers an will order the baffles next week. If the weather will break...
I just got them installed and started the bike; sounds louder and a little bit deeper tone. Not a lot louder, just a bit. Can't ride it tonight, had few beers with dinner. I will post after my ride to work in the morning. My initial impression is good. Hard to tell with this motor, idle is a bit high when its cold. BTW, I have the largest baffle they make.
