Default Thoughts on S&S Cycle 124 in. Hot Set Up Kits with Heads

Came across this kit and thought it was pretty neat making the stock motor a 124". Anybody with experience on this kit or what they heard. Not looking at actually doing it, just thought it was cool haha (ok maybe thought about it LOL!)

I have that done on my '05 Fatboy.

Out of the box with no alterations (head porting, different cams) it makes passing cars interesting - looking over your shoulder to see if it is clear to change back only to see the car a lot farther back than expected.

It would be worth considering one of our sponsors if you want a 124" conversion, such as Hillside.

Built 15, 4 1/8" bore engines(117", and 124") since mid-December.
One of the last ones was a carbed set-up that rode 4 hrs. home to Woodbridge, NJ.
139/151, with an S&S .640, our Stage I S&S Heads, Thunderjet, 40 mpg, and the oil does not get above 180*.
Dyno report is on our company Facebook.

How is the reliability of a motor like that. I like to ride allot and dont want to be rebuilding it all the time.

Wouldn't most of the reliability depend on how the motor is treated and maintained?
