Are you all sure they don't fit? I bought a Memphisshades Memphis Slim Windshield that was for a Fatboy. It fits perfectly on my Slim. Just have to make sure you get with or without lightbar. I would think a fatboy fairing would fit a slim.
That is what I'm thinking, just wanted to make sure. I would just get a Memphis shade, but they are ABS. I was thinking hand laid fiberglass might be a better fairing than injected ABS.
I'd say the biggest reason they won't fit is because the Fatboy, Heritage, etc have the FL front end whereas the slim uses an FX front end. Any Harley with that FX front end regardless of model should be interchangable, but I doubt you'll have luck with the fat FL front end stuff fitting. I could be wrong, but that's my thought on it.
The Slim DOES NOT use a FX front end. It is most definitely an FL front end.
Also, the only part I could find that is different between a Slim and a Fatboy, on the front end aside from finishes, was the front panel of the tin behind the headlight. Forks, trees, brackets all appear to be the same.
Harley is just lazy when they update their site. They still have wrong parts listed for Breakouts and I contacted them about that over a year ago.

I appreciate the input. So now to the fun stuff, go buy the quick detach mounting hardware and install it. And decide which fairing to buy.

How right you are! lol. My apologies. I don't know the names of all these new Harley models. They all sound the same to me. The name "slim" made me think there was an FX front end on it but you're absolutely right, it's n an FL front end.

Blackline is essentially a Slim with an FX front end.
