Where did you order it from? direct from them or from a reseller?

I've heard nothing but praise about these FuelMoto guys but when I bought my PowerVision I bought direct.

TBH if I were you I would have demanded a complete replacement. I don't mind buying used gear at a discounted price but paying full retail for something that looks used is BS.

I wish there was a free way to use the powervision on another bike. Back when I bought mine I was informed that it could only be used on the bike it's first connected to unless I pay an expensive fee to unlock it. Not sure if that is still true or not.

On the bright side this tuner works really well. Been using it on my softail for over two years without issue.

I did buy direct from Fuel Moto...

I just called them again and spoke to a different fella (I think his name was Travis) and the results were much better. He was polite and to the point. They opened a new unit and I guess Dyno-Jet has stopped putting their branding on the software discs and he confirmed the unit I was given was new but Dyno-Jet must have forgot to package the data cable. Fuel Moto mailed one out.

He said the guy I spoke to the other day was sick so I'll chalk it up as he was having a really bad day or something.

Now all I have to do is wait for that cable to get here and slam it into my scoot!

I have had quick response for them supporting my PV1. They do have a large customer base and it may take a little while for them to get to you but they will and do.

Two minutes is a long time with dead silence?? I would have hung up and called again.

Give them some time before you burn them at the stake.

Enjoy learning how to use the PV.

I ordered mine from a reseller and didn't have the map pre-programmed when I bought it. I called dynojet and after emailing them the mods I had done I had a map emailed to me within half an hour.

Their customer service is excellent IMO...I would take their explanation of the guy being sick. It happens.

As far as getting it to work...it isn't difficult. Once you flash the new map, run the auto tune a few times to fine tune the map further. I've had mine for a few months and the difference was night and day. I still have to run a few more auto tune sessions to make the bike run a little smoother and it's basically just been laziness on my part.

As for hooking it up to a second bike...you still have to pay in order to be able to do that...but it's cheaper than buying a second unit. As far as the cost...it's still cheaper than having someone else do it IMO.

If you didn't get a mount for the PV2, the one I got, I bought from Amazon for about $10 and it works perfectly.

I dealt with Travis today and he was very helpful. I prefer to only deal with companies who will provide great service before and after the sale as we all know how frustrating it can be after you get something that is not right trying to get it fixed. I have dealt with a few other guys at FM as well and they have all been very helpful.

They always get a thumbs up in my book as I have dealt with numerous companies over the years who are difficult to communicate with. FM is always a pleasure.

Travis and Jamie are the "go to" guys at Fuelmoto. I have heard nothing but gOod about them for 10 plus years on this forum.
