So looking into the Vintage/Tracker fender and sprung seat conversion kits for an 08 Crossbones.... I can find the rear fender kit for sale (& on RSD's site) but I can't for the life of me find their seat conversion kit(on RSD or elsewhere). Are they still making them?
Also, assuming I can locate these two items, I should have no problems installing them without the Vintage/Tracker tank; correct?

Roland Sands no longer sells the spring seat. They only sell the tracker fender kit and the vintage solo seat. You can install them without the RSD tank. I have both fender kits (vintage and tracker) as well as both seat setups, so if you have any more questions please let me know.
Thanks. Bummer that they aren't making the seat conversion anymore, seems odd. Are you aware of any spring seat kit that I can use along with the RSD fender?
Also, from what I understand the vintage is more-less a lighter albeit more expensive version of the tracker?
Personally I don't like the rsd fender and I don't even see why it's "vintage". Looks pretty new school to me. Despite being bobbed the fender still also sits pretty high off the tire.
Floating fenders with a springer seat is a nicer looking combo IMO. However if you go that route be prepared as the tighter-fitting the fender the more challenging the installation can be (as I learned lol).
Shadetree fabrications makes a great lookin kit for the crossbones, but again the installation can be tricky.
Well.. Here's the catch, or I should say--my criteria.
I would like a low-profile springer seat & a low profile rear fender, Now the tricky part: I'd like to be able to mount a pillion(even just a suction seat would be fine) for the fiance who likes to tag along on rare occasion. So I guess the trick is having a nice rear fender which will support a passenger. I'm open to suggestions.

I don't know of any seats that are plug and play. Check out the link below. Plasteredcat used the harley spring seat with the rsd tracker fender.
Ugh! My heart just skipped a little greenbax. I take it that is the stock(yet modded) HD spring seat & a shadetree fender? Would/could you put a passenger on that or is that a terrible idea?

No that's his own springer seat kit and large solo saddle ( I have that seat, love it very comfortable).
Yes if you install struts then you can hold a passenger.
FYI it is a challenging kit as the fender is about 1/8-1/4" from the wheel, the fir has to be precise. Go with a 1/4" clearance at least IMO. Also do not get it painted or drilled. The reason being is he's out of state and if the holes are off you'll need to redrill. Better to get it without holes and have a shop u trust do it with you right there.
Here's a pic of my slim with the shadetree slim kit: (I went strutless, it's solo ride lol)
