Just laid down my 02 fxst, and now get to rebuild. The entire front end will need to be replaced. I have always liked the springer look. I was also flirting with the idea of blacking the whole thing out. I'm very open to suggestions and inspirations so lets see some ideas!
Tough break on the bike but am glad hear your ok...... not a bad time to upgrade to an fl front end, the handling and brakeing would be an improvement.

I've always been a big fan of Springers. I have an 05 FXSTS with close to 85k on her and she handles great at high and low ( city) speeds. If I was going to build a bike, it would definitely have a Springer front end on her. The idea of checking the frame is also a good idea.
