1004ron the tyre itself has 2-3 flat section, so it actually matches perfectly with the shape of the tyre, but to me as you can see it still doesn't look right from the rear. When we get the rolled edge on and finished I'll get some more pics but yes it is addressed now.
Thanks splatt. Had to be minimalistic with that tank I reckon. The front fender, will be the last thing I look at down the track. It will make that one from scratch, no fender blanks just start from a sheet of steel. I aim to make the front one small as possible, and as close to the tyre as possible. Then flat black it to make it disappear into the tyre
Can you give us some details on the seat?
Is it sprung at all?
Any kind of a plate/cover between the seat and the frame?
Any kind of a battery cover?
What's that sticking out between the left frame tube and the forward left edge of the seat?
Such a wicked kool thread man. This is an awesome bike. We need another video!
That's what I said 07. rolling 2nd gear smoke out. With that kind of power that tire would cook. No need to shift Ink 2nd gear would get you down the road a good bit. Just hang on.

i keep coming back to this thread to try and figure out what I'm doing, but missed this. i remember asking about using the stock brake set up, and kept looking at the new pics with no rear brake 'til i finally saw this (yeah I'm quick, nothing gets past me ). I've been eyeballing what i have and just don't see room for a brake on the right.
can you give a little detail and how it's working? or point me back through the thread to where you described it? thanks.
I've missed a lot of this progress!! This thing is phenomenal dude!!! I can't wait to see it in motion. Make sure someone takes a video of you doing a drive by so we get a good feel for the ridding position.
