Just bought the daymaker 5"3/4 led to put on my breakout

As i look out the light there is a 3 wire plug harness and a red wire all alone by itself, my question is where do i need to plug this red wire

I just hooked up the stock plug and it works fine. Sure want to find the answer to your question. The instructions didn't tell us anything.

 

I think it might have something to do with the bottoms leds cause i think they dont light up even the small hd logo

 

i remember watching an install video and they said that little extra wire is left off for the daymaker.

 

you hook it up to the positive wire that goes to the small separate bulb on the stock headlight light and leave the negative one disconnected , that way there is a small led in the new headlight that comes on with the accessory position of the ignition switch.

 

On the old bulb there is only one bulb and no small bulb

 

There is on the Australian models, it called a parking light

 

I have same light. Don't worry about red wire. It is for the European market and a "parking light"
