Using turn Signal buttons to disable security system
Ok folks,
This requires some forum exerience. No thanks to the manual, I was able to get a code into my bike. lest assume the code is 22222.
So I arm the bike.
I hold both buttons and get the solid security light.
I hit
Left 2 times
Right 1 time
left 2 times
Right 1 time
left 2 times
right 1 time
left 2 times
right 1 time
left 2 times
right 1 final time. System does not disarm. I have worked different numbers with no luck.
RE: Using turn Signal buttons to disable security system
The are only two things that you don't specifically mention that need to done (or not done). First, make sure you are standing beside the bike and it is still resting on the jiffy stand. If not, you probably already "tripped" the system and your code won't work to disable the alarm. The second thing is turn your ignition on before starting the procedure. If you are doing those two things, you have the procedure correct. I just tested it on mine to make sure I had it right. Good luck.
