what a bad day.......
so , i finally get to go for a good ride 200 miles or so, we stop at a few places for a drink come out and my bike is giving me fits to start, after inside for 1 beer , now i had same problems with my stock carb so everyone said to get a mikuni , so now im having same problem , so at every stop i feel like a fool , my bud has a ol azz sporty real old , pops off right away every time!!as all my other pals bikes , so we stop off at white pines state park to enjoy the pines
when i walk back to my bike i see specs of oil on the oil tank and there is some under my carb, like where this lil plug thing is , so i call the stealer , who says its prob out of breather , my air cover is dry all the way around!!! looks like its comming out of carb area and now it looks like my rocker box covers maybe a lil wet on both!! this starting problem has happened since the bike was new , they kept telling me its ok, ive had it jetted a hundred times ,runs fine when running no popping smooth,im very bummed i think it has to be a ignition or coil problem , as for the oil grrr, im pissed, bike has 2800 miles on it most of going to the dealer to fix problems.i talked to the best mech they have whos gonna work on it starting mon.all i want is my bike to be right ,these things are getting to me, ive got buddys who dont even change oil and beat the **** outta their bikes and nothing? i feel like i got a lemon i dont think it will ever be right........ dont know what to do , ive had my bike valve seals updates and 203 se cam while they did the seals , thats it . hope they get it so i can ride

it sure sounds like the float is sticking/needle not shutting off...make sure the float level is right, and replace the needle...you may have trash in the gas tank, getting by the filter above the fuel shutoff (this would explain the problem of both carbs)...just my 2 cents...hope You find the problem[:@][:@][:@]
