How much should I pay for a Softail Slim?

All,

I'm looking to pick up my first Harley-Davidson soon and am looking at the Softail Slim with ABS and Security. I'm looking to get a deal of course so can someone tell me what they paid for their new softail slim?

Different dealers in different areas will have different prices. Supply, demand and taxes usually means someone else will get a better deal than you would.

Somewhere around $2500 under the sticker price.

Buy used if you want to save more.

I bought mine used last year via private party , its a 2012 and had 900 miles when I got it. I paid 13500 it came with full exhaust, upgraded air system and a fuel pak also.

A good prrice at this time of the yr... thinking about $3k more than you think you should pay.........

and about $1K less than what a seller wants to get.

I'm in the middle of a deal and am at about $600 under MSRP plus a $1500 gift card towards parts and labor. This is for a '15 Heritage with security in amber whiskey near Los Angeles. Still not sure if I'm ready to pull the trigger or not.
