True, but he said he's been "riding for over 50 years". And he's hitting himself with his own bike? LOL Come on, that's funny.

It is funny.
I say we keep this thread alive by not giving direct answers, so that every time we come to the forum we can laugh at the thread title!

Perhaps that's one year's experience 50 times?

I bump my calfs on my wifes toes constantly when rocking back and forth at stop lights. I have to ride with the rear pegs up when I am solo or they are in the way constantly. I can't sit still at a light, constantly moving forward then pushing backwards like some ADD kid. And yes, sometimes I bump when I take off becuase when I lift my feet it's usually back then forward onto my boards. It's mostly becuase I have human knees that go front to back and not side to side. I haven't been riding for 50 years and could use a lot of lessons from the professionals here on the forum.

It might be easier to access it, if you took the exhaust pipe off first, especially if you don't want to strip the torq bolt by using the wrong tool.

Either:

A: How do you all pull away from a dead stop without running yourself over with your motorcycle?

or

B: How come the allen wrench doesn't fit in the weird non-hex bolt?

Um, the floorboards have to be removed before removing the exhaust.

If the guy can't tell the different between a Torx and an Allen bolt, he probably shouldn't be turning wrenches on his bike.

His next questions is going to be, how come neither a 7/16" or 3/8" wrench won't fit the nuts that hold the end cap on the front axle?

Know your limitations!
