Default Stock Exhaust on a Deuce.

I'm considering pulling the trigger on an '05 Deuce which has the stock exhaust system on it. It looks to me like the passenger's right ankle is gonna be right up against the pipe.

I see aftermarket systems that route both pipes under the foot peg, but I don't really want anything any louder.

Any recommendations on a solution?

Thanks.

Vance and Hines sells noise dampening baffles. I've never heard them, but people have told me they kind of round out the sound to a nice rumble. Might be an option.

Anything aftermarket is gonna be louder. I have V&H Big Shots Long with the quiet baffles and while not obnoxious, they are loud.

If the heat shields are there it shouldn't be a problem… and that is but one reason why you should wear boots when you ride...
