Another vote for the Slim. Looks better as a two up ride than the Breakout does as a two up ride.
Putting a windshield, a comfy two up seat and a backrest on a Breakout is kind of like putting big cotton underwear on a super model.

At least the Slim has the skinny rear wheel for amazing handling from what i here. That 23.4 lean angle is crazy..
The lean angle increases quite a bit on the Breakout simply by changing the foot pegs. I lean mine so far over I've dented my Pro Street turnouts! And a set of apes cures the clamshell position of the drag bars.

I tend towards chopper styling, and while the Breakout is a bit of a stretch from a chopper, the Slim is in another County! Give me a wispy front end, and thin front tire, with a chopper-looking rear and I'm all in!

Add another vote for the Breakout!

So once the stock tire wears down problem fixed.. The other bike that has my eye is the Breakout.. I love the look and style as well for totaly different reasons. Reminds me of my 09 Nighttrain but on steroids and chrome.. I dislike foot pegs compared to footboards tho and the Breakout is $3k more expensive! So my question is anybody have experiance with both? Which is the best for 2 up? ovbiously after the Slim gets a 2 up seat.. Which one handles and rides better? Many people even salesmen at 2 different dealerships said the Slim is an amazing handling bike much better then the Breakout.. As far as test riding the 2 i found out many times going for a quick run at the Harley dealer only tells you so much you actually have to ride the bike for weeks to determine how well it handles and if you like it or not.. That why im asking on here for people thats has experience on both.. This is actually a tough call for me being that i like both for 2 totally different reasons and style.. Its like modern muscle vs old school..

Why do you want to part with that beautiful Road King? Love those colors.

It is a beautiful bike but not for me.. Its to big and top heavy and i hate sitting high on the bike with the 26.5 seat height.. Honestly sometimes its feels like im riding a small car.. Well maybe not that bad but..Lol Its just not the same.. Ive been a Softail guy for a long time and i love the low seating and styling and the handling way better then the baggers.. I love to come to a stop and be able to let go of the handle bars and relax my arms without worrying of the bike falling over. Plus i like keeping my bikes in the house and the Softails fit through the door.. And my riding style the Softails are just more fun for me..

I bought a slim and traded it before I made the 1st payment for the BO. I lost about 2500 but it was worth it.

Looks pretty decent .. If i went Breakout id probably throw floorboards on as well even tho they wont look as good as they do on the Slim.. But id still do it! Id do the half moon black Harley ones tho..

Why.. Even if there was an issue its a Softail.. you could have easily changed it up. From what ive been hearing they handle like there on rails.. Most people's issue is the rear tire is too skinny and they cant get past it.. Ive heard changing it to a 150mm looks better and fills the fender and fits the stock wheels. So just gotta waite till the stocker goes bald.. What was the issue you had?
