I'm pretty sure I have the dyna stuff your missing Alain. I'll be home tomorrow night and will check. They are yours if you haven't bought them yet. G.
Not an issue I would think. I think if you're someone who rides with a death grip on the bars then you might have a problem. It's no different than holding on to the throttle at high speeds. Your wrist/fingers don't start turning the throttle at high speeds do they?
Same thing with the exile clutch.
Not really a death grip but with 16" apes at highway speeds my grip is not as relaxed as at low speeds due to the wind pressure.
I do notice my speed has slowly crept up if there are no cars around me for a reference point when I check my speedo. I don't do that when I am in a car.

I will say that when I mocked up my feet in my garage my knees did come up high cause my seat is so low in the frame. A spring saddle is definitely a possibility. And I think it would look phenomenal with my set up.

I have the Exile internal throttle (same as clutch just twists the for the right side. And you would absolutely not "engage your clutch" at speed. The tension of the clutch is more than enough to keep it fine.
My throttle springs back and with the internal you only have one throttle cable, so the firmness of the throttle body spring is keeping it closed.....the internals of the Exile piece are very well machined.

I was thinking the same thing. The tension on that clutch cable is enough to keep it where it should be while your cruisin down the road.
Oh Tampa !! It's a money pit owning one of these damn machines !!
Well boys, project came to a screeching halt when I bolted up the mounting points and realized that the dyna mounts won't clear my stupid exhaust (see pic).
I miss judged when I looked at the pictures Russel sent me.
I gotta be honest, I've been wanting to get a new exhaust for quite a while now, this mid control mod is gonna force me to do it.
Anyone want to buy a black Vance & Hines 2-2 ?!?!?
BTW... I recently installed the Rekluse EXP Auto Clutch... it works like a dream... super easy to install (no need to remove the clutch basket)... it works beautifully.. and is cheaper than other competitors... definitely a must if you are running foot clutch and hand shifter like me...
your scoot is badass man!.. great taste on the paint, headlight, etc.. it all comes together nicely..
You are going to REALLY APPRECIATE the mids... I world of difference in comfort when you ride low handlebars like us.
Happy riding!

1- Exile's monster pipes. Russel told me (and I can see in the videos) that's his pipes will work with the mids on softail frames. This is the safe route, I which I really don't want to take.
2- is This exhaust by RSD (which is pricey as all hell so I might pass on it in the end). Here is a picture of it on a Dyna. I'm going to email RSD and tell them what I'm trying to pull off here. I'm gonna see if I can mount this Dyna version on my softail. Crossing my fingers.
