Bak N Blak.........i haven't had any problems like that with my '07. i would take it to the dealer and have them look over the final front end assembly again. i'm running my stock wheels/tires with no problems up to 90mph. bars are stock with the exception of a set of 6" pullback risers. how about posting a pic of your bike, i'd love to see a train with 16" apes and a 2" drop. i've been thinking about a change in bars. also could you list your parts list when you changed over to apes? thanks.

thanks for the pics. bike looks good with apes on it. it's been a while since i have used image shack, but i believe there is an option for different sizes of pictures. i always chose the one for message boards.hope that helps with the sizing.

bak n black-I have a 07 Train also and know exactly what you are feeling...although mine has 8 inch rise t-bars.I've only had mine for a little over a month and have only put 300 miles on it so far.I keep telling myself I need to get used to it,but I believe there's going to be more to it than just that.....already started thinking aboutchanging the front tire.If you do any thing that helps your problem please post back up.

have an '02 train w/ drags and it's steady as she can be. I REALLY wouldn't want totake mine to the dealer, under most circumstances, but you should still be under warranty right? It's no good to have something you've paid so much for ride that way. I would be shocked if changing your tire or rims helps your control, if it's that bad. If there's a little voice in the back of your head that keeps chiming in and saying that,"something isn't right." I'd say something is wrong. Trust your gut, hopefully you have a dealer around you that will listen to you instead of acting like they know everything. Have you checked the bearings? Maybe the steering column has some play in it. I don't know. If your under warranty someone who knows should look at it. Not that the dealer is always right either. Maybe one of your fellow riders there in Ga. could help you. I just don't want to see someone get hurt from a problem that is hard to address. There's enoughthings that can go wrong when everything is working correctly. I'm also from a small farm town in IL, northern IL. About 8,000 people. So best of luck and ride safe.

One other problem could be tire balance.
Believe it or not, it's usually the rear tire that causes the most problems up front at speed.

I bought a brand new V-65 back in 1983, and it would almost throw me off the bike at 100MPH. The back tire was out of balance, and after it was corrected, I could fly as fast as I wanted to go.
