Default New(used) question

What are some things to do once you get a used bike? What do you look for to see what the last owner changed? I want to know everything the last owner did to the bike

If he did anything outside of the dealership, I don't know if you can. But if it was done at a dealership, to my knowledge, they can punch in the VIN# and tell ya everything that was done to that bike. At least that's what they told me when I took my Heritage in...

depends on mileage. but at the very least change out the 3 fluids, check the air filter, and if mileage is high change the plugs and inspect the wires. once that is done stop worrying and ride the thing.

if it is a piggy back tuner you will see the box somewhere on the bike look for it in the wiring. if he did a stage one at the dealer it will be on file on the service records.

The only way to know for sure if the pistons, cams or other internal engine parts have been changed is to open up the engine and look for yourself.

Personally, I wouldn't worry too much about it unless you paid extra because it had engine modifications.
