If you don't fancy going down the windshield route a small bikini fairing may suffice if it is just wind buffeting you wish to eradicate. A mate of mine who has the black Breakout behind mine and I do quite a lot of miles together. He has mentioned whilst at higher speeds the buffeting he experiences can be quite bad. I have the CVO small bullet fairing and even at the highest speeds do not experience any buffeting or significant wind noise at all. The second picture is a better view of the fairing with another mate's 48 alongside.
As far as I see the owner hasn't been active here for a year, but does anyone know what type of the bar is on the photo? After a ride through bad weather I am ready to give up and to buy windshield, but stock drag bar of breakout is my second pain...
Those were burleigh roller bars, I have now replaced them with the RoadGlide stock bars, not as good looking but sooo comfortable .
Thanks. Which one of carlini, if not a secret? Any troubles/issues with mounting/cables?
What was the "Carlito's way"? +&- of used ones?
Got it! Do you have any pics from the front? A bit too "ape" for me, just wandering.
The carlini bars are called "bag drag"bars. They ate kind of a modified beach bar that comes back at an angle that' handles more like a drag bar. Contours well with the bike, though you need a shim to step from 1 in to 1.25.
