Rocker owners.... I getting near the life of my back tire on my Rocker C, I had to change the front tire a year ago, when I wipe out and had to do a lot to get it back in shape... I bought the front tire from the place that did most of the repairs, a Dunlop American Elite 100/90/19 BW, maybe not the best option...but a good price for it.
I would like to get your opinion on the best brand for the rear tire, I also think I will keep it 240/40/18 (stock) or maybe 250, I just don't have the $$$ for more mods at this time.
Avon & elite III 250 and Metz 260 will all fit on stock wheel and under stock fender no prob. I have tried a Avon and Metz....very close but I think I like the Metz ride better just not a fan of the Metz price
260 really? I thought I can only go up to 250... 260 will be great!!
Someone told me about the Metz the same thing...but that the bad part is that you don't get as much mileages out of it because it is softer and grips the road better, but I rather have more grip.... than more mileage.
What would be a good price on these tires? Like I said I'm not ready to buy now, but will keep an eye on deals.
What do you have on you bike now? do you have pictures on how the 260 looks like?
What about turns and over all handling? ... I read that the wider the harder to turn.
