Ready for some serious traveling now (at least until I think of something else to change). Borrowed some ideas from others on this forum; some I thought of myself. I hail from a 3-generation Marine family, so this bike is the perfect canvas to reflect that legacy. Now if I could only figure out where to mount the machine guns!

.30 cal ammo box; Sundowner 2-up seat; passenger back rest & pad; fender-mounted 3rd tail light/ brake light/ license plate; blacked-out brake pedal.

USMC Honorable Discharge pin / seat bolt.

Black leather swingarm bag; blacked-out shifter & linkage.

Black frame windshield; black headlight grill; black HD fork bag; smoke turn signal lenses.

Blacked-out gas cap & fuel gauge.

12vDC receptacle (didn't want to clutter handlebars) for GoPro camera.

GoPro mount on left mirror stem. Also, thermos holder in lower left corner of photo.

USMC coin (given to me in memory of my son) on Timing cover.

I forgot to add a photo showing the flag my wife sewed onto my leather jacket.

Awesome bike, and tribute, to your son. Thank you, and your family, for your service, and sacrifice!

Default Keeping it simple for now

Picked her up a week ago. Have windshield, Mustang solo seat, and Vane & Hines exhaust/FP3 on the way. Not sure if I wanna do a backrest. I don't feel like moving the lights and plate (I like the stock look more).

I did get the Sundowner seat, but don't like how it looks on the bike so I took it off and put it back in the box. I may just sell it when I get the Mustang seat and passenger pillion.

Love looking at what everyone has done here. There are some great ideas!

I got a huge discount on my Slim S. Don't know how or why...just signed paperwork as fast as I could. Didn't wanna ask too many questions...LOL

Dealer stated they needed some sales for end of month a few times, so...yeah.

They also waived the prep and freight. It was just tax and tags with a small doc fee. Called two other dealers and they couldn't touch it.

I spent days researching...

I ended up going with their 3" Round Twin Slash slip-on mufflers. I like the stock exhaust look and these will retain that and add some 'character'.

Revzilla price was $360 and if you figure in the 'Zillacash' it comes out to $345 with free shipping.
