Ah, I see, haven't run across that problem yet and I always add the r/b/t adapter on all my scoots. I do swap the 1156 for a BA15, tho. Running a visor red lens with the 1156 was just too bright, the BA15 toned it down where it blends nicely with the tombstone brake light. Cutting the amperage in half is maybe the key or I'm just dang lucky, huh? Thnx for the reply.

Looks like I am gonna have to do the old wood screw in the plunger trick. Evidently, the tab broke off at some point. Thanks, everyone for your help!
