I have a '98 Heritage Classic. My left turn signal has stopped working along with my speedometer and the rear fender light. Quickly losing it.....cannot isolate the problem. Any suggestions and help will be deeply appreciated......
I suspect too many changes from wiring on your '98 to my '14, but one thing that comes to mind is that I've heard of problems experienced with the ignition switch and/or the connections to the switch. i'd suggest to pull the console and check -
You may have 2 problems. Have you checked for trouble codes yet?
The turn signal and speedo problem sounds like the VSS or Speed Sensor. You can read up on this using the search function on the site here. Recently had the one went out on my 2000 Fatboy.
The rear fender light may be another problem, wiring or even a bulb.
