I just had my 07 FXST at the dealer for the recall. I was in browsing parts and decided to ask the service mgr. about it. Apparently he knew exactly what I was talking about, because he said he could get it right in. I didn't have the bulletin or the notice letter mentioned above.
I wish I had taken pics before and after. I might be able to get an after pic posted this weekend if anyone's interested.

I haven't seen the actual HD notice so I can't say how its pictured in there.
But my bike is setup to have it done next Tuesday morning and I'll get pics of the whole thing if they will let me and post them. But if anyone gets them first, go for it.
The sooner more people find out about it the fewerchances there will be of anyone having a bike fry out from under them.
Having the battery short out while your zipping down the highway could give a whole new meaning to the song title "Great ***** Of Fire".

Hey folks! Don't take this recall lightly - get on it right away its critical. Just had my wife's done yesterday. I know a guy who bought a brand new SE fatboy and it melted down after 48 miles!! HD replaced the bike, but still, this problem the recall addressed ruined the bike. Get er done!!!!!!
