2004 Screamin Eagle Deuce - First Fluids Change Help
Hi everyone,
I'm about to do my first full fluids change on my 2004 Screamin Eagle Deuce (new to me).
I don't have the service manual or anything, so could anyone please tell me what fluids I need to get for engine/transmission/primary. Basically I need to know what brand/viscosity to get (and an oil filter too obviously), and how much of each to use.
I did, created an account with the VIN and it found my bike, but unfortunately it says on their website that the owners manual is unavailable for my year bike (2004). Apparently they only go back to 05 or 06 or so.
Do yourself a favor and buy the service and owners manuals if your gonna do stuff like this on your bike. Guessing the engine takes HD 20W-50 and the tans and primary use Formula+.
I stayed with the HD dino oil and Formula+ at my first fluid change and glad I did. Bike shifts really smooth. Have heard too many different stories about the Syn3 to want to use it. For the record I'm a synthetic oil believer in my cars and trucks.
